From Hartford, Vermont, Emma Patriquin is a senior majoring in Environmental Science. She has been running on the Cross-Country team for four years. If she had any advice to give her fellow runners she would tell them, “Keeping a positive attitude is the key to having a good race!"
Emma loves to bake and wants to remind everyone that stressed spelled backward is desserts! Her favorite movie is Free Willy, and her favorite book is Tuesday’s with Morrie. Her favorite Professor is the wonderful Dr. Dittus. Emma says that her role model is her mother.
She also draws inspiration from Saint Teresa of Calcutta who says, “Do small things with great love.” Emma’s favorite scripture passage is Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through him who strengthens me.”
Although Ave was not her first choice in school, Emma says, "I think Ave chose me. It was my last choice in searching for schools. Then the next thing I knew I was on a plane heading to orientation." She is a wonderful part of our school and a great role model for her fellow cross country runners. Her dedication to the sport shows through her commitment to her team.
